How To Go Green Like Hulk? :)

1. Recycle. Okay I know you've heard this too many times but it really does help. Things like aluminium cans, newspaper, plastic, food or garden waste (for compost). And oh yeah, even cell phones.

2. Don't dump! You don't have to dump your girlfriends like they're garbage. Haha. Keep them safe. If you have to, there are garbage bins everywhere. :p What I'm trying to say is do not litter kay.

3. Go laptop. It uses less energy than desktop computer.

4. Rechargeable batteries are so 'in' right now. Lol. Those crap normal batteries just used up space in waste landfills.

5. Turn off the lights, turn off the lights! For once, your dad is telling you the right thing. It's as simple as that.

6. Coffee Addicts! Look for Fair Trade Certification when you're buying coffee. For those that are fair-trade certified, you are guaranteeing that the farmers who grew the beans are paid a fair price, are provided much-needed credit and given technical assistance, such as help in making the transition to organic growing and freedom for environmental practices. And oh yeah baby! STARBUCKS is the only company that has the license to sell Fair Trade Certified coffee in 23 countries including Malaysia. : D

7. Download softwares from the internet! You save fuel, energy, resources and time. Plus, CDs are damn difficult to recycle as it is made from non-renewable petroleum products. So relax, and give credits to those clever dudes on the internet. :)

8. Plant a shade tree. This will supply more oxygen and of course reduce heat. Go Nadiya! Force your dad. Lol.

9. Tell your daddy and mummy to park in the shade. It decreases the amount of fuel lost to evaporation, and requires less air conditioning when you get back in. And check out those shiny metallic windshield shade thingy to reflect solar heat from your car. I'm sure you got some of these.

10. Toss a bottle in your toilet tank. Sounds weird. Hahaha. I think so too. So here, let me explain. An average toilet flushes around erm three to five gallons per flush. That's a lot of H20 for your shit when some toilets will work fine with a little less water. All you have to do is put some pebbles or sand in the bottle and oh yeah water and just put that in the tank BUT make sure not to disturb the working parts of the toilet. With that you can save at least half a gallon of water for each use. And besides that you can also install those toilets with the big and small flush thingy. I don't know what they're are called but my school's using them so you rock Green Road. Haha!

11. What's your carbon footprint? Calculate your carbon footprint and try to reduce them.

12. Use less hot water. Now I wish mummy, dad, and Syukri would listen to this one.
